EU projects

Chempilots seeks project partners (including project coordinators) within medical sciences. Our primary research interest is within the Health and NMP Themes under the European Commission's Seventh Research Framework Programme (FP7). In particular, we are interested in cooperation with partners/project coordinators for the following calls:

• HEALTH.2010.2.4.2-1 Reducing in-stent thrombosis   
  Deadline exceeded (19 November 2009).
  
  
• NMP.2010.2.3-1 Development of standard scaffolds for the rational design of bioactive materials for tissue regeneration
  Deadline exceeded (8 December 2009).
  
  
• EUREKA's Eurostars Programme - funding scheme dedicated to research-performing SME's and institutes/universities
  Deadline: 30 September 2010.

EU project experience
Chempilots currently participates in the BioScent project co-funded under the European Commission's Framework 7 Programme.

The overall objective of this project is the development of innovative bioactive polymeric scaffolds able to guide tissue formation from dissociated stem cells, for engineering autologous cardiovascular replacements, namely vascular tissues, heart valves and cardiac muscle. Chempilots’ role in the project is to consult on synthesis, scale up and production of polymers.
