Production expertise
Chempilots can provide technology know-how and clean rooms for the custom production of medical devices, polymers, specialty materials and formulations. Custom production is often an extension of our earlier R&D and process-development contributions. Typically, our production customers want us to actively participate in downstream innovations.
Production characteristics
Our productions are characterized by at least one of the following elements:
- Emerging needs: Our production is vital for supplying a newly developed product with a certain validity profile, e.g. for clinical tests, where clean rooms and quality systems will be required. Quick turnaround is often essential.
- Complex chemistry or processing: The production involves either relatively complex chemistry or processing and typically customized processing equipment is used. Small details matter and a high level of control is necessary.
- Pilot scale or low volume: The production is in a start-up phase or is a low volume operation that is advantageously outsourced.

We offer a seamless transition of a newly developed product into initial production mode. Thus, know-how gained during R&D and design history remains intact throughout the entire innovation process. Moreover, the production setup is customized so that it is both suitable and sufficient for supplying validated products under a dedicated QA system.
