Chempilots' kilolab is an ATEX compliant clean room facility, that supports custom polymer synthesis including all unit operations: synthesis, fractionation, isolation, drying, milling and sieving operations on a 0,2-50 kg batch size. The kilolab is also used for solventborne formulation production.

As an ATEX compliant facility we can handle all types of highly flammable solvents and most gases. Being a clean room at the same time facilitates controlled bioburden open operations as is the case for small batch campaign manufacture.

The kilolab is comprised of 3 flexible work stations each with power, nitrogen, gas and water outlets, where we can work our mobile modular unit operation equipment. In addition, the kilolab contains 3 large distillation fume hoods for 1-2 kg batch scale synthesis.
